FILCASA (the Filipino Canadian Students’ Association) invites you to the FILCASA Summit, a three-day event uniting, celebrating, and transforming Filipino-Canadian community leaders from colleges and universities stemming from coast to coast!
From June 9 to 11, connect with Filipino community members at our Networking Gala, celebrate Filipino talent and skills at our annual SUPERSKILLZ, and develop initiatives to drive change in your own community at the FILCASA Summit happening right in the heart of downtown Toronto!

WIKANG FILIPINO AT AKO
Inspired by Buwan ng Wika—a national observance held during the month of August looking to promote the Philippine languages throughout the country— PINAGMULAN is set to be a month-long series of virtual workshops and events looking to expose and bridge Filipino students to different languages and way to “define” their Filipino/a/x identities.
On the agenda, we have five workshops planned for you:
April 3: Sa Isip, Sa Salita at Sa Gawa (hosted by FILCASA)
April 10: Roots of Migration, Roots of Resistance (hosted by Anakbayan)
April 17: Isang Sulat Sa… (hosted by Dominique De Guzman)
April 24: Take a Muna (hosted by France Stohner)
Every Wednesday: Wikang Filipino at Ako (hosted by MAFTI)
