superskillz is a showcase of talent from filipino student associations across canada — all under one roof.

Superskillz was established by FILMET (previously FCAR) and FSAY (formerly YUOSA, York United Oriental Student Association) back in 1997. It was created to promote and entertain the university, college and club scene with the best Southeast Asian talents around the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas. Superskillz is a non-profit organization that is aimed at promoting the music and the performing arts industry.

In its early years, Superskillz was hosted at The Underground, located in York University's First Student Centre. In 2001, the location has changed but not the face, and in 2002, the event was hosted at The Opera House, in downtown Toronto.

Today, Superskillz is widely known as the annual talent showcase it's always been, and strives to uphold its legacy by promoting and showcasing various talents and skills, including modern and traditional/folk pieces, prepared by Filipino student organizations across Canada.
