Inspired by Buwan ng Wika—a national observance held during the month of August looking to promote the Philippine languages throughout the country— PINAGMULAN is set to be a month-long series of virtual workshops and events looking to expose and bridge Filipino students to different languages and way to “define” their Filipino/a/x identities.

On the agenda, we have five workshops planned for you:

April 3: Sa Isip, Sa Salita at Sa Gawa (hosted by FILCASA)
April 10: Roots of Migration, Roots of Resistance (hosted by Anakbayan)
April 17: Isang Sulat Sa… (hosted by Dominique De Guzman)
April 24: Take a Muna (hosted by France Stohner)
Every Wednesday: Wikang Filipino at Ako (hosted by MAFTI)
